Fundraising for our chosen charity

After selecting East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) at the beginning of the year as the recipient of our annual charity contribution, we managed to visit one of their hospices and welcome representatives to our team training session before the national lockdown hit. Since then, EACH (along with other charities) have faced huge challenges as a result of Coronavirus; with the closure of their shops and cancellation of fundraising activities and events, EACH has suffered a significant loss of income. It costs £5,000 per day to run their hospice and provide vital support services for families in need, which makes ongoing fundraising critical, especially considering the current increase in requests for support from families as a result of Covid-19.

We promised to continue to support this inspiring organisation during 2020, so we are pleased to be holding a small Enhance team fundraiser, and what better way to safely raise money as a team (and take advantage of the return of two of the nation’s much-loved shows) than a Great British Bake Off and Strictly Come Dancing sweepstake! Enhance will be donating the prizes to the two winners, so that all the funds raised go directly to EACH.

Further support for charities and families

In other news, we are proud to announce that all charities are now able to benefit from a new exclusive charity discount on any of our EHCP training and good practice products. If you are a registered charity and would like to discuss how we can help you, please get in touch with us at

We are also looking for different ways that we can support parents/carers of children/young people with SEND. We understand that the legislation around SEND is lengthy and complex and the variety of information available online around EHC plans is overwhelming, which is why we have created a free EHCP guidance document for parents/carers, or anyone supporting families through the EHCP assessment, planning and review process. Please contact us at if you are interested in receiving a copy.
