Enhance EHC Ltd is the largest and longest established EHCP support service in the UK. Since 1996, we have supported over two-thirds of the Local Authorities (LAs) in England with developing EHC plans (previously SEN Statements), trained hundreds of EHCP writers, and provided guidance and good practice to a wealth of SEND professionals involved in the EHCP assessment, development and review process.

HEAD OF STATUTORY SEND

All new starters in the SEND team are requested to complete the Fundamentals of Writing EHC Plans training to give them a solid foundation in their understanding of EHC plans. The Enhance training works them through explaining what must be included in each section of the plan, stresses the importance of key links between provision and need, and makes clear reference to the requirement for plans to be person centred through a visible golden thread. The fundamentals of plan writing training closely aligns with the SEND Code of Practice, and provides useful PDFs which can be saved to computers for future reference, long after the e learning has ended.
